I have been a pastry chef for nearly 30 years. In this time, cake styles have changed drastically. From highly detailed fondant covered tiers with delicately hand piped lace, to rustic naked cakes with fresh flowers and cardboard silhouettes.
The wonderful thing about modern-day cakes is we have so much history to draw inspiration from. You can take a little from each style you love and blend it all into a unique cake that fits the individual customer's needs.
Just as important as how the cake looks, is how the cake tastes. My recipes have been perfected over the years through practice and carefully tested techniques. I use only the highest quality ingredients and stand by all of my products. You can be assured that you are not paying for a packet mix or poor tasting cake.
I love trying new techniques and always stay abreast of current cake trends. It gives me great pleasure to make my clients dream cakes, by creating stunning cakes that are as beautiful to look at as they are delicious to eat.
